Montal

Located in Mainetes, a village situated in Fuentealamo in Albacete; the Montal winery was only founded in 2009. This hilly area that was once the site of ancient Iberian, Roman and Arabic settlements is now the home of Montal’s vineyards.

The winery owns 25 hectares on these hill sides where they employ a mixture of traditional and state of the art technology to achieve the best wines from the fruit of their land. The focus is always to create wines that reflect the terroir, pure varietal flavour, an elegant structure and complexity true of the Tierra do Castilla region. The wines are carefully fermented in French and American barrels producing intensely coloured and rich wines.
