WINE WAY, RHÔNE:
Wine Way is a cooperative based in the South of France that represents a group of nine “caves cooperatives” in the Gard region that covers two winegrowing areas: the Rhône Valley and the Languedoc. Established on January 1st 2008, Wine Way is wholly owned by the nine cooperatives and is the face of all sales and marketing for their wines. Situated in Nîmes, Wine Way has a large portfolio of AOC Costières de Nîmes, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Languedoc, Pic St Loup, Vin de Pays d’Oc and regional wines as well as a handful of organic wines. Their strategy is based on their vine growing and winemaking expertise and continual drive for best practice from the vine to the bottle. In total, Wine Way represents 600 wine growers, 6000 hectares and 45 million bottles. Wine Way produces wines under several labels including; Maison Carrée, Mille X and Mandolio as well as estate bottled wines from Domaine de la Vidalières and the organic Domaine Moulin Piot.

MAISON CARRÉE, RHÔNE
Maison Carrée is the Roman temple situated in the heart of the ancient city of Nîmes, at the very centre of Wine Way’s production area. The Maison Carrée range covers two major AOC: Côtes du Rhône and Costières de Nîmes. Costières de Nîmes, the lesser known of the two regions, has been flagged by leading UK wine journalists as the up and coming AOC from the southern Rhône Valley.

WINEMAKER CHRISTIAN GOURJON
Christian Gourjon has been chief winemaker of cave cooperative Jonquières, one of the nine members of Wine Way, for the last 15 years and Managing Director of Wine Way since its creation in 2008. Coming from a winemaking family that goes back four generations his wine expertise and knowledge is second to none.

LOIRE VALLEY
Jean-Jacques Bardin runs Domaine les Chaumes, the family estate, with his daughter Gwendoline along the banks of the river Loire to the south of Paris. We list their Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, both of which are excellent examples of these French classics.
