Vin de France, (formally known as Vin de Pays) is the all new encompassing category that allows wines from different areas of France to be blended together. Our strategy on this new system is to divide our range between Vin de France NV and Vin de France varietal and vintage wines which replace the Vin de Table and Vin de Pays categories respectively.
PATRIARCHE VINS DE FRANCE VARIETALS
This new category has allowed our winemakers to source wines from around France to create the best blends at affordable prices. Our Viognier, Syrah and Pinot Noir rosés and Cabernet Sauvignon are all 100% from Hérault. 90% of our Chardonnay is now sourced from Hérault together with 10% from Charentes while our Sauvignon Blanc is 50% from Hérault and 50% Charentes. Our Merlot, predominantly from Hérault also has 15% from Ardèche. Visit www.patriarche.com for more information.
