Thorntree wines are the brainchild of Andre Badenhorst, a man whose life has been intertwined with the history of the South African wine industry. From his birth and childhood at South Africa’s oldest wine farm, to his Constantia home today, Andre has always been immersed in Cape wine tradition.
Andre firmly believes that South Africa’s climate and ideal growing conditions combine to produce the world’s best value for money wines and Thorntree has grown from his desire to create good value South African wines that are excellent quality, easy drinking and very enjoyable. The range demonstrates Andres ethos that “Good wines don’t have to be expensive to enjoy!”
