High up in the Franschhoek vineyards you’ll find Dieu Donné perched on the steep southwest facing slopes of the Franschhoek mountains where the cool climate and the rocky soils of the weathered granite combine to create a unqiue terroir.
Stephan du Toit, Cape Wine Master and winemaker at Dieu Donné started to develop the Dieu Donné range of wines fourteen years ago, after he had travelled the wine regions of the world and now makes wines crafted to express the unique terroir of this corner of the Franschhoek valley.
Dieu Donne's cellar door is open to the public. It's tasting room and restaurant boasts wonderful views of the valley and is widely considered as one of the top boutique wineries for tourists to visit.
