
Chono wines are produced from grapes grown in regions that best express their varietal characters including Merlot from Rapel, Chardonnay and Cabernet sauvignon from Maipo and Syrah from Elqui Valley. The range is produced in limited volumes and made following organic viticultural principles that aim to enhance fruitiness and freshness with elegance and complexity.
The name Chono comes from an ancient Chilean tribe described by Darwin as one of the bravest native tribes he ever encountered and the only tribe to resist being conquered by the Spaniards.
