Part of our Thorntree range will be presented at the Cape Wine Europe event next Tuesday and Wednesday at the elegant Earl's Court  London, for press and trade from all over Europe, the US and Canada.  

Thorntree is the fruit of a marriage of Old World and New, of classicism and change, of age old tradition and innovative technique. It has grown from the desire to create good value South African wines that are excellent quality, easy drinking and very enjoyable.

Andre Badenhorst, Thorntree’s winemaker who firmly believes that South Africa’s climate and ideal growing conditions combine to produce the world’s best value for money wines will be there presenting part of our range as well as some of the Badenhorst’s family wines. This huge wine event will have a Fairtrade wine tasting area, Focus tables highlighting Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, Shiraz and Pinotage, and a special tasting area for Platter 5-Star wines. Mini seminars will run every hour throughout the 2-day event, from 11 am to 3 pm, and an evening consumer tasting on Oct. 11 will share South Africa's best wines with a group of savvy consumers from Europe and America.
