Most of the countries we import wines from were playing in the Rugby World Cup so we’ve been watching the tournament with interest and enthusiasm from the office. In our “Think Red, Think Rugby” blog post last month we showed you our passion for the sport and as the Cup builds to the finale we can’t wait to see New Zealand and France battle it out on Sunday.
England may be long since out but as our company roots are so firmly planted in France, blue blood runs through our veins and naturally our support has turned to “Les Bleus”! The winning range from Patriarche, our parent company is without doubt their Vin de France wines, having already taken home a plethora of medals from the Sommelier Wine Awards and International Wine Challenge this year. Like the French rugby team, grapes sourced to make these wines come from all corners of France and are blended together to make consistently excellent varietal wines that as a range create the perfect team.
